Let's get it on! 10am tomorrow. Hopefully I will be lifted and tirededed by the end of the day. Anyone have any more helpful hints on installing spacers and rear springs/shocks? Any tips for using the spring compressor? We should have a digicam so I'll be sure to get pics.

snoozer ... since you don't have a 4th gen with xreas, you should do just fine installing the spacers ... the spring compressor is pretty easy to use, just remember to oil it up before you start, and be careful. other than that, i think you'll have great success!

Crap...I just saw this thread. I was lazy today and could have come out and helped. I live just south of Fort Worth. I work there.
Dang it! I would have loved to come out. It was such a great day I washed the trucks and changed the oil in both of them. But I much rather have spent some time with you guys.
Let me know when you are going to do this next time.

Yeah it was a long day. Took a lot more work than I had anticipated but it was fun. We put in 2" cornfed spacers in the front, 2.5" Downey springs in the rear, OME n86 rear shocks, 4Crawler diff drop, a pair of origianl NUKE quick disconnects, and 285/75/16 Destination MT's. Initial reactions: I love it. The DMT's rode great on the way home. They were surprisingly quiet on the highway, and even at 5-10mph. I'll post a full recap with pics of everything later. It's time to go wheelin'!
Almost forgot, I get to update my sig

Guys ... if you're in Texas, as I assume most of you in this post are ... ... I asked Corey and he said that if there was enough interest, we could get a Texas 4ROC going ... so I started this thread sometime last month, and if enough of us reply in there and have an interest, Corey said he'd create a little forum for Texas too ... and then we could make stickers and have our very own Texas 4ROC!
