DeMello sliders abused - and they liked it
Had a really good trail run yesterday. Hit some of the rockiest trails I've run to date. My sliders were abused constantly from all angles, and they didn't even flinch. I landed on them a few times, slid over the top of and along the sides of rocks several times.
I've banged around the sliders before, but never like I did yesterday. I couldn't be happier with my sliders - nice job Jason. Like a bonehead, I left my camera at home, so I don't have any pics. I'm hoping to get a few pics from some of the other people in the group... if any of the shots show the sliders in action, I'll post them here.

I spray painted them. They need to be done a couple of times each year. I don't have mudlfaps on my rig, so they take a beating during the northeast winters (rocksalt is hell on the paint). They also get beat up from the metal clips in my mountain bikign shoes, and obviously from trail use. I just pick a nice afternoon, tape newspaper to the side of my rig and throw a quick couple of coats of paint on them. Takes me about 90 minutes, no big deal.
