wow i looked right over that write up, i didnt think itd work cuz that one is the 3.0 liter, but it sounded like itd work.
he suggested getting a k&n drop in filter, i most likely will sooner or later

As I'm sure you saw, the 22re just doesn't have enough room on any of its sides for the larger 4" deck plates. I've been thinking about trying a 2 inch abs drain outlet end. The kind that you screw a cap on to. The deck plate mod is better then just drilling crazy holes everywhere due to the risk of water ingestion.

Dont buy those cheap cone filters off ebay, they are complete chit. When I got mine, I could see through the filter. I had it on my truck for a week and it messed up my MAF. Straight to the trash it went. Dont make the mistake I made....
