He left with all the money that was donated to his supposed "project."

yea, thats it. He went to mexico and living like a king on $50. brilliant.

maybe he got that hybrid motor runing, and he's having so much fun driving the 4runner he can't stop to post?

or maybe the "project" failed and he dosen't want to tell us.

I'd like to believe he's on the trails right now in his hybrid 4runner.

It was a joke Einstein. Notice the smilie. Fact is, he gave us some interesting ideas with some original thinking.

I'm leaning this way. I'll bet the heads don't fit and that was the cornerstone of the whole project. If this is the case, he owes us an explanation so no one else wastes their time going down this road.

I've already decided I won't polish the turd - when the time comes, I plan to swap in a 1UZFE (Lexus 4.0 V8).

Dan giving many of us hope for the ol' 3.0 was worth my $5 donation IMO.

Isn't he in the Coast Guard? Maybe he is on assignment or something.

If you guys know his last name, maybe you could call and make sure he is ok.

Yep. Never bet more than you can lose.

You might be able to do the Lexus V8, but I'm don't think it will mate up to my manual tranny. Supra will, but that's more than I want to get into.

Of course, there's always the 5.0 Ford small block...
