if you just hurculined your chrome bumper it would look a lot better. The chrome under there does not blend well with your car/bumper. don't get discouraged, it still looks good.

You dumbass, neq0323 asked what vehicle the bumper was originally made for, so I told him. And my 4Runner could go offroad if I needed it to.

Its a start, i would try it without the factory bumper, and move it up and closer to the body. And but your turn signals right below your running lights (in the same housing).

i did that, just drill a hole. works great since the running lights are 5W and the blinkers are 25W.

I already did the turn signal mod.

I might just scrap it and but a TJM/ARB in a few months when I have the coin, but It'll probably stay on till then.

At least people will know who I am.

I like the look of the TJM T7...

Hopefully I can get a gently used one for ~$400 or less...

I can take it. Bring it on. Tell me how you would make it better?

I took off the chrome one and then held it up there upside down and it looks okay. I might have to go totally custom and start from scratch, but we'll see.
You mean....you really did that? This wasn't just an April fool photo-shopped picture for laughs??

In that case; I'm completely speechless.

i personally like the look of those bumpers, but over the stock bumper looks pretty bad and i dont see it doing any good over the stock bumper. Take the stock bumper off and try again

Looks like you got one bumper too many on the front there.

Pull that black piece off, spray it with some rustoleum. Then pull that stock chrome front bumper off and the brackets. THEN get some nice heavy brackets fabbed up to reinstall your tube bumper up in the stock position. That will restore your approach angle and give you a nice custom look even tho it appears you're attempting to recycle a jeep bumper (which is ok if you got a good deal or free)

Some nicely made custom brackets can be made by your closest metal shop if you take some time to draw up what you want in a nice little diagram. Take some good measurements, prop up the black one on some wood blocks to position it where you want if needed. Then if you like the work your metal shop does on the brackets you can ask them about fabbin' something to match on the back, and ditch the chrome back there too.

When you pull the front bumper, if there's exposed stuff that looks naked, just tape a nice straight line and spray it black too.

Two bumpers IMHO only looks ok if you've got a thin tube, pre-runner style bumper, which is really just functional for mounting aux lights.

good luck man!

still wont make the bumper match the body lines...it will look like crap no matter what you do...I would just start over with something else...maybe a bumper that is made for the truck
