I greased em today. It helped somewhat...since I drove it more, should I grease it somemore now?

It will help but it wont ever go away. Just get use to it if you dont want to tinker with welding it.

All this info should be in the thread I gave you... if not search here or ttora for "steering clunk" you could read for days. Basically some tacos and 4runners had more or less slop in the joint and years/ miles of use just wear it down.
