Custom interior pics
#21
Okay Let me clear up some things the interior was done when i bought the truck, I just got a new camera and wanted to use it. The interior was done by the guy who i bought it off of who works for a local toyota dealer and had a friend do it. I lost the list of where a what stuff is in it but this is what I know.
1. Dash is out of 87-89 4runner.
2. Does have cruise but doen't work.
3 switches above radio 1 is for attenna the other is for fog lights, both don't run anything yet, I also have a third on the left side of the for a deck light, which make's me think that the dash is out of a truck???
4. the box below the glove box is a triple power outlet.
5. The seats were re-done with the rest. Just know the are out of a Celica.
The whole truck was gone completely through iy has about 20k on motor, new bed, all new glass, the head liner was replaced, six speakers, amp (explode), I bought truck pretty much as is with just a few of mods that i added, Downey K&N, Redid the Head.
I' ll have exterior pick as soon as i can. Sorry about any of the confusion. and thanks for the complaments.

Great job Red85.
I had an 85 SR5 4runner with every available option (8way seats, chrome pkg, power pkg, sunroof, rear heater, etc.) including a special edition color. I bought it new and drove it for 15 years and 172,000 miles. I had 4" lift 33s, trd posis in both ends. Never had a problem with it other than normal maintenance.
The dash is the same from 84-89. Same as the pickups too. The consoles were very different though. The switch for the power antenna above the radio is stock. The other switch isn't. The switch on the left for the deck light is stock, there should be a light on the drivers side in the rear side panel. My cruise worked fine and yep with a 5-speed (still does, as does the ac and everything else, at over 230k now) but there were a lot of failures at around 100k and it's the servo/cable assembly usually, and they're hard to find.
My new interior is nearly done. Carbon dash kit on order (to releive some of the orange...) and a new stereo and clinometer in the 1.2 din opening, power windows with armrests similar to the 4runner pieces (making those myself) and I think it's done. Custom winch mount/ brush guard and rear bumpers are next. www.pcez.com/~pcollins for pics.

Sorry, just realized I mispoke. The instrument cluster "hump" changed, only in style, can't remember what year (87?) but they interchange and look very close. Otherwise pretty much identical...

My turbo seats look like new as does the interior. The turbo seats in this x-cab fit like a glove to the body , since they are somewhat adjustable lumber wise and side wise. They are something to check out also.
