Question Cost of OME Install

Hey all, I know this will vary by location but I was wondering what experiences have been for the cost of installing 4 shocks/springs at an alignment shop. I talked to a guy here in Sac who said about 175 plus 40 for the alignment. What you think?

I think that sounds like a very fair price.

Aha!!! Another river rat!! I knew I couldnt be the only one.

Yeah, that price sounds pretty good, which shop was it? I might just be lazy and pay someone to do it for me when I finally do it.

Hey mertztr, what if I show up the day before Pismo with some SAWs? not gonna happen, was hoping to get them on before Pismo but something came up and the cash went elsewhere.

Damn, you'd think I know the name of the shop but I didn't bother. It is something like A&J alignment or something generic like that. They are at 36th Ave and Power Inn. By the way, you know of a good welder? I need my sliders hooked up!

I usually use the guys at Marco Mufflers because they're close, that and a friend recommended them when I was installing the header. They do great work, they're the ones working with me on my intake mod for the 2.7L. They got shops in Roseville, Orangevale, and a couple in Sac. Here's a link to the search results on smartpages LINK

Hope it helps.

Yes that sounds like a VERY good price. Well to me at least, I had a friend who got his installed without alignment for 280.

Great, sounds like I should be good. Uh, I'm kinda a noob, though I think I am better than that, so what is Pismo?

Oh man, sounds great. I have always wanted to hit up Pismo, SLO is beautiful, reminds me of Marin. However, I am taking a roadtrip on the 9th with a buddy to Breckenridge, CO. This will be interesting since it is about 1200 miles out on a new OME "firm" suspension. Has anyone done a roadtrip this far with an OME setup?
