Cornfed 2" lift and rocker panel guards

ok..............i'm gonna get the 2" kit from cornfed and i have a couple of questions.
how was the install? ----- good, bad, ugly?
will i have to do anything to the rocker panel guards that i've already installed?
what kind of shocks does the 2" kit come with?

and finally........how's the ride. i know it depends on the suspension already installed, but i was curious as to how many folks installed new shocks at the same time as the kit.

i think the cornfed folks are out of town this week, so i thought i'd post here since i couldn't call them.

thanx again for all the info!

Brad:

Not sure what comes with the 2" Kit from Cornfed but their setup is easy to install. It's just a spacer you install.

Installation will require a coil compressor (which you can get from Autozone - free)

Installation should take no more than a few hours to do. If the kit comes with the shock too then make sure you install that too. Defeats the purpose of installing the spacer only since you know you'll have to take apart the suspension assembly to install the shock later on.

Since it's just a spacer, your ride quality should not be hampered as much. You might notice some stiffness but it should be mild.

Have fun!

i just installed the 3 inch cornfed lift 2 weeks ago. i replaced the front struts with some rancho rs5000 and the kit came with Explorer ProComp Es3000 shocks along with add a leafs for the rear. the ride is kind of stiff but its fine to me.
