Coolant Flush questions
I know it has been posted that Dex-Cool works in our rides. I have a 96 V6 4Runner. I have 2 questions:
1. I was at my local automotive store and saw "Peak Global Extended Life Coolant". It says "Add to Any Color Antifreeze, Including GM Dex-Cool, and new Ford and Chrysler coolants" on the front and "is recommended for automobiles with the following antifreeze specs:
Chyrsler MS7170,
Chrysler MS9769,
Ford ESE-M97B44-A
Ford WSS-M97B44-D
Ford WSS-M97B51-A1
GM 1825M
GM 6277m (Dex-Cool spec)
Mercedes Benz DBL 7700"
Should I put this in my ride?
2. The Prestone Flush Kit that is installed with a T-coupler inline has been used by several friends of mine. Does this add any advantage over regular flushing?
Thanks y'all.

I hate Dex cool. It plugged the heater core in my Impala (the previous owner probably added regular coolant).
Just use regular and change it out every so often. My '93 has the pepcock on the bottom of the radiator. I had the system machine flushed when I bought it, then when I drained the coolant to change the timing belt, A LOT of junk came out the pepcock drain, so I would use that instead.

Yeah, man. I like the flush kit, personally. It seems to work well and it's quite convenient. I am able to get all the old coolant out without much mess. I've never had any issues with it leaking or anything like that, either.
You poor fellow! How did "Helen" die?
tc- What makes you think it was the dex-cool that plugged your hc? I ask because I am using dex in both of my runners.
