My physical degree is 18 and this is my first vehicle.

I guess I'm not doing bad.

I bought a '71 MGB GT for about 250 when I turned 16 but while racing a BMW across the bayway in Mobile I heard it sputter and then bing bang and then smoke entered the cab through the vents. I pulled over, well, coasted over to the shoulder and hike a couple miles to the other side and call a tow truck. after I got it home me and the absentee father discovered that I nuked the engine! haha, it was funny then but now I realize I had a classic and had I taken care of it I could have restored it and made some cash off of it. it wasn't the convertible it was the one with the hatch back. it sure was fast for that one good burst. haha. after that it was chevette-city baby. it had about 125k miles on it when I got it and I drove it until '93 when that engine blew while attempting to pass a semi on hwy 43/69 on my way back home from Tuscaloosa. haha.

Did I mention that I also like the set up of your rig, KEISUR? I do and always have.

Also worth a mention, ALBUQERQUE JIM's rig.

Sweet rig. Love the color.

off the top of my head, there are a few 3rd gens that stick out for me....Darren's, BruceTS's and waskillywabbit's. they're kinda "insptirational" on the direction i want to take my 4runner - an all black runner that handles well on road, has lots of goodies, but is also ready and proven for some real offroading.

others i like are bob98sr5's, casey's, keisur's doink's, milton's, watrd's, and goodtimes's.

i know i'm leaving some people out here, but really if you've taken the time and effort to really customize your toyota truck for god's intended purposes (read: just about anything but slammed), then you've got respect in my book. and yes, that covers offroad, performance, utility, and appearance mods.

I like all runners too, except for the slammed bling bling runners...save that **** for a caddy or somethin a pimp drives. At least those guys give me somethin to laugh at when I see em

I gotta update my av picture....my runner has changed a whole lot since I added the new mods

Money is the key principle to which we all fall short of.

Wink

I like my rig .. its the only 2000 DDP SR5 with the hood scoop here in town, Im pretty sure.. Im starting with, what I believe is a good foundation of low miles.. under 40K and Rear E locker... Im slowly modding my way up and DDP has really grown on me as far as the color is concerned.. yeah Everybody like Black, Blue, Red, Green, Silver (hehe all the S.E. colors) but I remember someone posting saying they felt the Desert Dune pearl was the comeleon of colors.. and it does change in different lighting conditions.
As for rigs I do like Darren's, this is what I dream mine will be like someday, Vato loco's is tight, BajaTaco awsome, Bob_98SR5 (Luv that color and the grill rocks) speaking of rocks calrockx, And my new favorite bamachem (what a nice rig, great paint, bumper and mods) I always look in on what Waskillywabbit is doing OK ok I like them all hehe
Heres a pic of my lame rig

I think Lance's truck has come so far from the first time I saw it on a run. He must have always had the vision of it with lift and armor, because he always drove it like it already had it on!

Wow, I got mentioned a lot in here. Thanks guys!

Remember, if you like it, you can buy it! The 44Runner is officially for sale to the highest bidder.

I would have to say the ones I can think of off the top of my head are WATRD, BruceTS, sshaefer3, Shane, FearToy...

I am now a HUGE fan of Casey's rig
I have yet to see it in action but anyone who's going to take on a 2WD-4WD conversion instead of biting the bullet for a trade-in has some major devotion to his ride

Talking

So many rigs, so little time. I like most everyone's project on Yotatech especially waskillywabbit, hyperlite, turboale, ssbogger, pfdaxe, and RTdawgs.

I feel like a movie star!

I would personally like to have an old style 4Runner body, 2nd genner, without all the hiccups that go along with it, on a 3rd genner frame/engine. I still like all black rigs best!
