There's nothing wrong with missing random girls coming up and telling you that you have a nice vehicle. It's just cool to have someone you've never met to make a point of stopping you and saying hey nice ride. Im not saying I would trade it for my relationship or anything.

 

I have had numerous people come up to me and ask me how much lift i have on my runner, and i just say its stock and their jaw drops. My friend with a cherokee always says to me your runner can do more than my cherokee because it is "practically lifted" . other than that i have had a few compliments here and there, mostly people always come up to me and say they like my happy face light covers, or my black rims.

I get them all the time...especially at school, I've had teachers come up and ask me about it.

I get waves and thumbs up and honks all the time from other people that have Runners. I've gotten to know a bunch of em, some of em should be joining YT here soon...

And I am extremely happy with the girl I have now...shes the best lookin girl to give me a compliment yet and no matter what girl compliments my ride or smiles at me cause of it, shes the only one that'll be ridin in it with me...she wants to drive it...but...i dunno bout that one guys.

well i thought. a few weeks ago, two days in a row i saw a guy driving a green 4runner, two lights with a rack and it had coils in the back. you were the only one i could think of. it just matched your runner too good. i am pretty aware of the toyotas in the area and i have only seen this one 2 times. i figured it was you on a trip to tulsa or somethin. guess not.

i get lots of good words my way about my rig. it's in great shape for it's age so people are always shocked it's that old. a few times i've even gotten to my runner only to find notes on the windshield asking how much would i see it for or if i do to call them and they leave a name and number. that kinda stuff make's me feel special inside and it reassures me that my hard work does not go unnoticed.
4runners, no matter what year are chick mags.

I get compliments from time to time but there are way too many here in Santa Cruz. I think I'd get more but people always say I appear unaproachable. Don't know why....I must always have a serious look on my face.

And yes, chix dig 4Runners. I see more girls driving 4Runners here than guys. And most of them are pretty damn cute. Too bad most of them are too young for me.

 

I mostly get stares when I open her up and the deckplate and exhaust are blaring. Kids really dig that, as I have seen numerous kids on their bikes stop and stare as I blazed by at WOT.

I also get a lot of stares when I smoke someone from a light with a lane that forces you to merge (some punk will pull up and think I am really slow).

Other than that, most people don't pay too much attention.

 

I get lots of "WOAH! Is that custom!", or "˟˟˟˟, what is that?" when i have my soft top on (and rolled up).
With my 89'...
My cousin gets tonnes of looks in his... but it's more of a show truck (nice clean paint and body, big lift and tires)... we had some (older) chicks in a jeep (with the top off) giving us the devil horns ahahahah....

 

haha, i meant to imply that yes, us chicks DO dig 4runners especially getting to own and work on one!!

 

One time a guy in a Bronco II complimented my truck at a stop light. Caught me off guard bigtime. One of the mechanics at the local Toyota dealership has asked if it is for sale.

Kinda strange, it's a good feeling knowing if I ever put it up for sale that it would sell quickly. On the other hand, if people like your truck enough to want it so badly, it's obviously too cool to sell!

It's the opposite here in Iowa. Most of the 4Runner drivers are female alright, but twice my age (I'm 20). :cry:
