Clutch/Tranny Whine

I have a 96 4 runner 4WD V6 w/ R150F man transmission. With it in N and the clutch out it whines (the whine sounds almost like I'm going in reverse). With the clutch depressed the whine goes away. It whines while in 1st, 2nd and 5th while accelerating but goes away when coasting. I crawled under and tried to pin point the noise but couldn't. I appears to be coming from the clutch/tranny area. Before I start tearing this apart does anyone have any ideas what my problem may be?

Its "normal" - so don't mess with it.

You're good to go.
