Clutch "scream"?
Recently, my clutch will make a screaming-type noise if I don't get off of it quick enough. This especially happens when the clutch is partially engaged and I'm accelerating a bit to keep it smooth. This just started happening...is my clutch wearing out? I haven't noticed any performance issues yet, just that loud noise.
BTW- I've noticed that my 2nd gear makes a high-pitched groaning noise when in gear and no throttle being applied. It starts around 3000 RPMs and continues all the way down. It's loud enough to hear over the radio. Is this a problem or just something minor that's causing this?

Interesting to say the least. This one got me thinking.
1. Lack of lubricant on the "clutch fork pivot", come to mind. Requires high temp grease. Does the noise happen with engine off, and while depressing the clutch pedal (Loud creaking)???
2. Throw-out bearing. Does the noise happen only while driving, and only while depressing the clutch? In neutral?

Thanks for the reply. It only happens when the engine is on, and I'm changing gears. As I'm releasing the clutch slowly, it will scream if I give it too much throttle and I don't pull the clutch out quick enough. (Hope that makes sense )
BTW- #1 happens occasionnaly also.

I have a somewhat odd clutch sound too, so I figured I would post here. The sound only occurs when there has been a lot of moisture outside, such as after a night of rain, dense fog, or something along those lines. I get a creaking sound when I depress the clutch pedal, and it definitely seems like the sound is coming from outside (not in the cab). Additionally, the sound will go away after approx. 5 minuters or so of driving. Any ideas? Thanks for any info-
