Started truck this morning. Put it in gear and released the clutch (no gas applied) started moving forward! WTF.
Everything feels loose and strange.
For a while the truck has been whisteling and or whining but when i push the clutch in like a 1/8 of an inch it stops. Im so confused Please offer advise. Thanks

If you let your clutch out fast and it didnt stall but slowly started to move forward then your clutch is slipping and probably on its last leg.
The noise is most likely your through out bearing.
By the sound of it you need to replace your clutch

Sounds like your slave cylinder is dead...or it could be your master clutch cylinder, I would actually bet on it. Do some searching on here and on ttora.com and you'll find out what I'm talking about. Not too uncommon....

mine slips a little bit, but i like how loose it is, ya know? check your throwout bearing and check your clutch cylinder... mine used to leak fluid into the cab.. yuck. is that happening?

i dont think it's anything hydraulic related. if it was, it would have the opposite effect of slipping. for instance, a slipping clutch means you can have the clutch pedal out (engaged clutch) and the truck may not move. on the other hand, if the hydraulics were shot (MC, SC, etc) you wouldn't be able to disengage the clutch, and it would want to stall out anytime the truck is in gear and stopped. I know this cuz i my SC went out on me not too long ago...
hope this helps.
