Clear (colorless) TJM turnsignals...anyone?

Does anyone know of a source off hand that sells colorless turnsignals for the TJM bumpers? It's a shot in the dark, I know.

What's the deal with people liking the clear lenses.. I think they look just like a really faded OEM product. do they do antying better than OEM, or is it just the 'looks' that you're wanting, just curious...

I haven't seen them for that bumper. Maybe I need to have some made.

Some think they make your truck look newer/fresher/cleaner. They are more for looks. It depends on your preference.

Here's some before and after pics from my surgery:

As Jason said, it's all for looks. It makes the front look more uniform. With '01 Headlamps and corners, MSR driving lamps and fog lamps, the orange signal lenses stick out like a sore thumb.

Jason-
What do you think it would cost to make a pair?

If you folks get the clear lenses, make sure you put bulbs that glow amber in them. The cops don't like white turn signals. I got a warning on my way to pick up the chrome/amber bulbs.

Once I get around to taking my bumper back off, I'm gonna weld in the holes and add these; http://store1.yimg.com/I/yhst-5253399658814_1821_633862

then, make the cut outs so I can install my stock fog lights.....

I thought of that, too. Only, I'd have a plate welded in to completely seal the hole and then use something like this to make a turnsignal:

Yea, but nothing is more eye grabbing than Sequential Arrow Led Lights. I do plan on welding a plate iin first, then cutting out new holes. The reason for the oval lights, they match better with the round fogs. I never did like those square lenses.

Ordering a T-15 tomorrow, like how JacksonPT put fogs in where the blinkers were to be. However, I will be leaving the blinkers as they come..... here is why: If you get in an accident cause they can't see your blinker (for whatever blinker scenario you used, such as the corner lamp mod)... you're liable... cause your blinkers aren't DOT approved. I'm not even sure if the "factory" TJM blinkers are DOT (being Aussie standard), but you'd have a much better chance in court. Sounds anal? At a crossing driving angle the hoop will cover the corner blinker.... safety over looks guys....

Hi All,

I got 3 private messages over the weekend about the clear lights in my bullbar, so I thought I'd post all the details up in this thread.

My orange TJM indicators were full of mud and looking real ˟˟˟˟˟ty, so I priced some new ones from TJM and they wanted $80 for the pair. I had recently bought a set of clear Altezza ones for the missus's Lowlux for $38 for the pair, so I thought I'd see if I could get them to work, and they fitted great!!.

The lights are off a 94 toyota hilux 4x4 (pickup) and just some simple brackets were needed to fit them. I'm sure you could get them over in the states, but if you get really stuck, we might be able to work something out with me shipping some over to you guys.

Heres the lights with the dodgy brackets I made.

The indicators were installed using long stainless steel bolts, which allow the indictaor mounts to be spaced back by screwing 5 nuts on the bolts, before putting the indicator on.

The indicator installed

Some pics of the truck with the bullbar back on.
