Cherry pop 100K

Had her just over a year, and she finally decided to give it up today. :bounce2:
So I guess she's almost broken in now

Nope it actually worked out quite well. I knew I was coming up on 100K so I left the camera in the truck, and after returning from my lunch break and as I parked I looked at the odo got the camera and snapped the shot. I work on a utility plant that cover approx 2 miles so when leaving for the evening I was not even off the plant yet before it rolled over so I took another pic.

I'm 900 miles away from my 100k "break-in" and I'm glad it's a Toyota.

I'm at 98k in my 96 and she sounds like ˟˟˟˟t. Can't tell if it's a bad pully bearing or an exhaust manifold leak..... Should I drive it?

If you pull off your belt and see if any of your pulleys have and side to side play, or can you see it while the eng is running just watch the pullies closely while reving the engine. A manifold leak is kind of easy / messy. One way is to put baby powder around the suspected area start it up wait a few shut it down and inspect.

Congrats! 193,xxx on my '96. It's a daily-driver rolling over 600 miles per week. It runs as well as the day we bought it, and I'd argue it looks better!

Just hit 140k here...I'm hopin shes gonna keep runnin for quite a while, but I have prepared myself in the even that a new engine is needed...probably either going to get my 3.0 rebuilt, try and find one with low miles on it and clean it up and replace a bunch of stuff on it or get a 3.4 and go that route.

Congrats though!
