OK so the timing belt is at the 90k mark...thats good to know, that will factor in a lot.

The tires are brand new, he's only got about 1k miles on em so they will last for a long time.

Hmm...I may look around, there is a '98 Limited with only ~68k miles on it and its a black limited...if its got the gold emblems and wood grain I won't get it, but if its black with the silver emblems and no wood grain then I will take a serious look at it.

Lemme know what else you think about this whole thing,

Fink

I must have missed that in my research, you're right. Oh well

15k is too much man!! in Dallas you can get a 99 Lmited with 85k miles for around 12k or a bit less. I would not even consider if it is more than 12k. Plus this is a northern truck, here will be some rust around the under carriage. go to cars.com and look it in Dallas area, you should able to find some gretr deals. I found two 99 Limited 4x4 in Dallas with 85k and 87k for $11400 and $11800. Both are in excellent condition with clean title, I ran carfax for both. I decided to go for a TLC instead!! Good luck...my 2 cents!!

I went out to Dallas to pick mine up. As far as that goes, I've gotten my past 2 cars from Dallas. Deep south, no worry of corrosion, and a more competitive market.

Well guys, the Runner is mine. The guy finally came down on the price and it is now mine, well not officially yet but he will be signing over the title in the next few days and it will be on a car carrier within a week.

I'm pumped! I can't wait to get it.

And yes, it was in a minor accident but the whole bumper was replaced so thats probably why the front valence isnt painted.

The 2nd gen is now officially up for sale if anybody wants it or knows anybody who might.

Thanks for all the advice and I will keep you posted on my new 3rd gen!

He came down to $13,500 not including shipping. Shipping is going to end up costing around $650-$700 using Dependable Auto Shippers. They are going to drop it at Tulsa and I will go up there and pick it up. Should be there around the 11th of May and then I will drive over there on the 14th.

I'll get some pics of it up as soon as I can,

Anybody want my 2nd gen????

Hahaha good call...turns out I'm going to have them take it to Springfield, MO cause it was $100 cheaper and was the same distant away as Tulsa.

It should be at the terminal right now and once it gets on a truck they said it could be in Missouri within 2-3 days but it all depends on when they can get a truck through there to get it.

I will let you know when it comes in and I will have LOTS of pictures don't you worry!

I think you are getting a pretty excellent deal...I got the EXACT same truck with 135k on it for 12,500...wish I would have seen this truck last November!

Have fun, and the black looks SAWWEEET!

Yeah, I've always loved the all blacked out Runners...I cant wait to get it, I'm so antsy and it sucks I have to wait a few weeks to get it, but I figure better to wait on something I know I'll like rather than settling for something nearby so I can get it quicker.

Thanks for all the advice and comments, pics will be up A.S.A.P!
