Changed brakes now no brake power
I just changed my front brakes on the passenger side. While I was taking off the caliper, I loosened a bolt which had some brake fluid spill out. I tightened it as quickly as possible and then reassembled the brakes. Now I have no brake power. Did I destroy my brakes buy loosening the wrong bolt? Is this the reason for no power?
Btw, I have a 99 4runner 3.4L, 4wd.
Thanks.

Sounds like you opened the bleeder screw. You will have to bleed the brakes. You can buy a mighty vac http://www.mityvac.com/pages/products_hvpo.asp at most auto parts stores. Otherwise you will need two people. Suggest you consider taking the car somewhere and having the brake system flushed. Bleeding brakes is simple but it could take you hours if you are unfamiliar with the task.
