Just a thought.Might work?? Yea, I know that sounds like a "RedNeck " idea and way of doing it,but guess what........It is ! .....LoL cuz I am a "RedNek" ! Lol
That's similar to what I was thinking.

I bet the dogs would chew up the pipe sleeves before they could do any good.

It would probably fit over the area behind the rear seats. Might need two to have enough to cover the backs of the seats when they're lowered down. I think I paid $15 for one mat at Sam's Club.

Here's mine. As you can see, I cut it to fit between the wheel wells, and short enough so that I could put in some crates ($3/ea at Wal-Mart with their back to school sale). The slight lip of the mat and the grippiness of the crate bottoms keeps them in place rock solid. I throw my trash in the back when I'm going to the dumpster, so the plastic mat keeps any drippings from a hole in a bag from getting on my carpet. It does make things on the mat slide around a little, though - that's the only negative.

It's a really quick and dirty thing, but it's been in place for 2 years now.

I've never seen sheets but I know you can get custom-sized ones online in different thicknesses - they aren't cheap though IIRC.

Just another idea for you. I have 3 labs also so the rear seats are always down. Sure it's a lot, but labs are skilled at rolling in poo, dead stuff, getting muddy, waiting to shake off until they get in, dog hair, etc. You could just go with a 4x6 mat if you wanted to keep it simple.
