cargo cover

do your cargo covers squeak with every bump you hit?

it makes this annoying baby-duck-ish squeak everytime i hit any kind of medium bump, or take a turn, etc.

any way to cure this? I hate leaving it uncovered. thanks!

Try sticking some really thin felt on the side mounting brackets. Mine used to squeak too, until I gave it away.

I got mine used but it has felt on the ends that go into brackets. I guess the previous owner got fed up too.

apparently toyota knows this too, because mine has the felt on the tip and it came like that when i bought it. This seems like an easy fix. BTW my hood squeaks against the rubber stopper on the corner, does anyone else have the problem?
