Capitol Radial A/T Tires....Sucky?

I got my 98 runner used.. it came with a new set
of capitol radial a/t tires on it.. I hate to replace tires
that are new, seems like a waste of money but I am
not impressed with their wet traction.. I can't seem
to find any info or reviews on these tires, does anyone
know about em or have some experience with them?
would some revos have much better wet traction?
Thanks.

My Geolandars I had on my '97 had good wet characteristics and resisted hydroplaning quite well and have a 50k warranty so it would be another choice to consider but Revos I'm sure have good wet properties too.

I've never even heard of Capitol tires.

As far as recommended tires, IMO, the Toyo Open Country A/T's are the best truck/ SUV tires I've tried.

haha,
another that has never heard of them... I hope you don't have a tread life warrenty since the company doesn't seem to exist! I will say the Revos have AMAZING wet traction. If thats your priority they are definatey the tire for you. My Revos with less than half the tread left had better wet traction than my buddys next to brand new BFG ATs. Its all personal prefrence, and people tend to feel very strongly one way or another. Sort of a rivalry even the BFG folk and the Revo folk. The BFGs do look better but I'm in the Revo camp. There have been 85783923875727629859273758265923847 threads about revos so do a search. I'm sure you will be happy the Revos, I miss mine all the time.
