Since I had recently purchased the Runner, I went back to where I cought it and griped and they agreed to fix it for me because they sold it to me under the assumption that the 4WD worked.

So now I have 4 wheel drive!

It was a bad 4x4 computer. I'm really glad I didn't have to pay anyone to fix it. I might need my 4wheelin today because we're sposed to get some snow. Perfect timing.

 

I got a 96 limited w/ push button and I'm wracking my brain with the same problem minus the warrenty . Do you know were the 4wd computer was. I ripped my dash apart looking today. I found a thread suggesting on the left kick panel drivers side. Can u confirm this on your 98? Thanks
