yes Tacoclimber they do look good ..I just dumped a bunch of $$$ in some wheels and tires so they lift will have to wait til next year..Then it will be a 3" coilover and 2" leaf in the back....She'll be looking real good then

why do you need to take the flaps off? they look like they would have been fine on there

It looks like it wont rub but when you turn left the driverside tire will rub..I will try to take a pic today and post it...It will only rub turning and dropping down into dips...ANd where it rubs is on the bolt/screw that holds the mudflap on and that will ruin your tire..

Here is the pic of where they rub a few inches before it rubs is where the mudflaps would be and with a mudflap it will make the bolt/screw stick out a lil further causing it to rub..Is it worth it thats something you have to decide..I hate hearing the rubbing noise...

of course the 265/75's are worth it, they look that much better in person and don't really effect power/fuel mileage. I went from 265/70 to 265/75 and would never turn back, in fact I might go with 285's in another year or two.

did the rubbing cause tire damage? also when does it rub? if its just rubbing when dipped down in a ditch or whatever that wouldnt be bad. i love my mud flaps!! lol keeps rocks and stuff off my paint

I dont have mudflaps on mine..If I did yes it would rub on the tires and cause damage..It still rubs without mudflaps but only on the channel on the fenderwell and does not cause any damage on the tire or fenderwell. It rubs when making left turns and if i drop into a dip..I am outing a coilover lift so the mudflaps will be going back on as I hate rocks getting flung down the side of the truck..

yes they rub on regular driving when I turn left..My driveway has a slope when I back out it will rub then..Trail riding it will rub a lil more than normal but at the sametime it is doing zero damage to the tires..Now if you keep the front mudflaps on it will damage the tires..

you can always put a 1" spacer on the front for about $40 and go to a 265/75/16 and it wont rub and still be able to keep your mudflaps..It will ride a hair stiffer and will level the tacoma out..

Sorry, man. Didn't mean to get you all amped on new tires and forget about that flap issue. Just get some 245 mud terrains or something... That'll look cool!
