Just curious. The wing looks like a JAOS piece as do the wheels (slightly). Thoughts?

I have a a couple of Japanese Hilux Surf brochures sent from Japan, and those bumpers and rear roof spoilers, among alot of other cool parts, are JDM options you can order from the factory.

hmm.. the front bumper is a jaos while the rear wing is an oem option for non SSR-G grades (SSR-X Ltd., SSR-X, SSR-V Ltd., SSR-V, & SSR). SSR-G has a bigger wing with power rear under mirror.

I've known him. His Hilux Surf is SSR-X.
That front bumper is not JAOS. That's OEM option(JDM).

My parents are moving to Guatemala, or however you spell that, and they have Hi Lux and Surfs down there. I wonder if I can get some HiLux stuff from down there.

That is the pre "fatlip" bumper to our '99+ since it is just the '96-'98 bumper with a new piece affixed to it instead of molded as a new bumper. That one looks nice but some of the other pics I've seen it looks like an afterthought and poorly installed and the fitment but that version looks a bit more refined and fit the earlier bumper much better.

If you wanted that for a '99+ you'd have to swap over a pre '99 bumper.

I'd actaully like it better w/o the brush guard build into it. It looks tough.
