Brake troubles...any ideas?
So I have been having brake problems. My rotors keep warping over and over. Here's what was done: New pads, calipers, rotors, lines, tie rods, shocks, and the bearings were inspected and they looked good. Tires are aligned and balances twice a year. Tires are nearing their replacement.
My rotors warp after like 1000 miles or less. Has me and my mechanic perplexed. He suggested that we change the spindles and bearings but he doesn't want to do it cause its very expensive.
Any ideas???

I suspect your brakes are dragging and creating enormous heat on the rotors. Incorrect install of a master cylinder can cause residual pressure to develop. I say this because you have fixed everything else. Maybe you did not create the problem but its likely there.....Pull the MC and measure from the brake booster to the pin that pushes the MC plunger. Then measure from the MC mounting flange to the depth of the plunger hole that accepts the plunger. May have to be creative to get that number. Subtracted out, there needs to be at least 0.010" clearance. You can buy a rebuilt MC, read the install instructions, then return the unit but you will have examined the instructions that explains this process.

Few things it could be:
1) You may still have air in the lines.....have the mechanic power bleed the system
Here's a DIY version if you want to try it yourself....

2) Your rear drums are way out of adjustment to the point where the fronts are doing all the work and overheating the rotors
3) One of both of the new calipers may in fact be bad
4) The rotors may be of subpar quality to the point where they warp easily
I'd save yourself alot of headache and just take Brian's advice......just in case here's a link:
