Brake System Warning Light

My brake system warning light staying on after the emergency brake has been released. I checked the fluid and it's topped off. What other possibilities are there? Brake pads?

Mine came on for a frozen caliper. Sometimes it would go out after hitting a bump, tehn come back on when you hit another. (Interestingly, that will cancel the cruise control)

Slide the caliper off and make sure all the pistons move the same amount when you have someone step on the brakes.

The problem is with the driver's side fron caliper. It's leaking brake fluid pretty good. I think it's the calssic banjo nut problem with the Donahoes. At full turn I look and it's not hitting but I do't have anyone to hold it at full lock to see how close it's really getting.
