Does anyone know if I can just replace my 15" brake calipers and rotors with 16" calipers and rotors? (1996 4Runner 2wd)

If so can anyone recommend a vendor who sells them? Thanks.

You will need to replace your calipers, rotors and rims (don't forget your tires may not fit the new rims either) for this mod if you are currently running 15" wheels. Best place to get the parts is from the junkyard because it will cost a serious chunk of change if you go with all new parts from the dealer. If you are deadset on doing the mod I would just buy the complete setup off a junkyard vehicle including all 4 rims/tires, both front brake rotors and calipers and then have the rotors surfaced and install new pads when you do the swap.

 

Does anyone know if I can do that swap onto my 01 4dr tacoma? I think the rotors are an inch larger than my current ones. Thanks
