Body Lift is In
Hey Guys, haven't been on this site in ages. Just letting you know a friend and I installed a 2" body lift on my truck on wednesday.
Heres how it went : He has a 4runner with 2", we unbolted his, and took his 2" blocks out, installed 3" blocks into his.
Put the 2" into mine , no probs. to do the whole job took about 6 hours. there was no need to adjust fuel fillers/lines at all on both trucks. the only thing that did need adjusting was the handbrake cable. the steering is a bit stiffer now, but feels good.
Still have to make radiator drop brakets, as for now i removed the lower shroud. It loooks awsome, i am in the process of buying a bull bar as i can't be bothered to do the front bumber.
will post pic sooon, going 4wheeling this weekened.
if anyone wants/needs info on lifts, there easy, cheap and make a heap of difference

Yeah post them pics soon as this is just the size of lift that I am gonna do on my runner and I'd really like to see a before and after shot. Are you planning on going to 33's?

Hey Luke, haven't had the chance to write to you yet, I used to live in Winchester, born and bread in East sussex though !! now I'm in australia studying, and possibly moving here.......anyhow enoguh chit chat, on the lift, 2" is a MUST, i was already running 33" 10Rx15 so there pretty wide tyres. It's cheap, easy and safe.
I just need to crank my torsion bars up very slightly at the front to level it out, especially once i get the bull bar after xmas.
pics coming monday 'ish
cheers
