Bilstein 5100 Coil-overs

Does anyone have info on this product?
Check out this link. http://shop.offroadwarehouse.com/ind...53&item=218930

This might be a dumb question, but can these be 'McGyvered' to fit a Tacoma?

Just a thought, the price is great and the manufacturer is proven.

Any ideas and input would be cool.

Assuming the problems is with the top plate, that could be easily changed for something that WILL work. I know I ordered Tundra SAW's for my runner and they're supposed to fit. I guess the question is: How good are these coilovers?

So Gapguy,

You are saying that they will work with a little 'McGyvering'?

The Bilsteins I have are 3 months old and have performed flawlessly.

I will be going with 33 x 12.50 x 15's soon and will need the extra height to delete any rubbing issuses.

Your thoughts....

Thanks for the input.

So you have no lift at all right now? The reason they would't fit out of the box is that the mounting holes in the top plate are different between the Tundra vs. Taco/Runner. SAW's come drilled for both. It's my assumption that you could drill in the correct hole pattern (3 bolts), and make it work properly. My other question for you: Have you looked at SAW's? Or possibly even better, Steve Scheafer's "FrankenStrut"? Try checking out THIS Thread. I'm actually considering it myself, we'll see how the Tundra SAW's work for me.
