Jamie,
I was looking on the wrong side but I'm at work in some dress clothes so getting under the truck is a no-go. This will have to wait until the weekend when I can climb under there w/ sufficient light.
I will do this for you but just be a little patient.
Edwin

Your input would be most helpful to everyone.

Jamie, it's not in the same exact spot as your pic but the rear caliper says "SI13WL." Hope this helps.
This is really confusing as now I'm not sure which calipers I really have. I did not need to do any shaving like Fingers yet from the description above, I seem to have the same calipers. My mechanic didn't even need to cut off part of the heat shield, just bend it so the pads sits on the rotor properly. I know this has been beat to death but I don't know how to make this less confusing.

There are only 2 casting numbers for either Tundras or Sequoias (S13WE or 13WL) and I searched extensively for any others and have yet to find any. I am not sure how to interpret the casting number you have, the only way to tell now would be to remove the wheel and look at the pads (I don't expect you to do this) and measure the length of the brake pad metal backer (to see if it is 4.7" or 5.3" long). The 4.7" goes on the S13WE and 5.3" goes on the 13WL as mentioned above. Maybe the next time you are working on the vehicle and have a wheel off, you can measure for everyone. I will do the mod this summer and try and sort it all out.

Have any of you guys that did this mod checked that the steel spare wheel also fits without contacting the new caliper?
Can one of you confirm this for me. I'm sure others would be interested too.
Thanks

For a total factory look, could the tundra dust shields be used? I would rather do the extra work to put dust shields on that have the right clearence and not have to trim.
I can get a set of Sequoia front brakes for free. Are these the same as the Tundra brakes? I would tend to think they are?
Thanks

I have a chance to get Tundra rotors and calipers for free (just pay shipping) and i already have 17" Sequoia wheels but still have the stock 16" steel spare.

Just to confirm though, I will let you know after the weekend. I have the calipers and pads in hand, PowerSlot rotors due in tomorrow according to UPS. I want to do the upgrade tomorrow night (cooler). Goodridge G-Stop SS brake lines are not due in until monday so that little mod will have to wait until next weekend.
For everyones info the calipers are the 199mm with the 4.7" PF Carbon Metallic pads. I can tell you now that just by eyeballing it there is about 15% more surface area on the pad over stock 4runner.
If you dont hear from me until Sunday its because I will be at the Race here in Phoenix.

OK WOW!!! The pedal seems much more responsive. The mod went without a hitch. I could not believe how much thicker my Tundra rotors are versus the 4Runner rotors. I am going to post some pics on my website on Sunday, so if anyone is interested I have quite a few pics that I took. Plenty of before and after. "Old And Busted vs. New Hotness!"
Even when the rear brakes were so far out of adjustment that the e-brake maxed out (fully pulled) the brakes seemed great. I have to admit that I feel like I am driving our 99 Camry when I am driving the truck now. Can't wait to install the Goodridge SS Lines next weekend.

swept area
Am I the only one that noticed that the smaller(199mm/4.7") pad/caliper combo actually has a larger swept area than the larger(231mm/5.3). If the smaller Tundra set-up actually has a larger swept area(working surface) and fits with less work, why bother with the larger pad/caliper set-up?
