What I did was really simple, and I don't have any pics now, but I need to install a couple more LEDs in my gauge cluster, so when I do that I will take some pics.

I went to radio shack and bought their 100w PA horn (comes with just pos and neg. wires) and a switch and hooked it to the output. spliced PA lead from CB and tapped into driver's side door speaker and hooked them both to the inputs.

So, when the switch is down I am just on regular CB PA and the PA works fine. When the switch is up the CB PA will not work, but my music plays through the PA. It get much louder than I though it would and ended up working out a lot better than I initially thought. Will post pics when I can. It was awesome at my fraternity's mountain weekend during our low country boil outside. Everyone was dancing to "apple bottom jeans..."

AVS bug deflector on 3rd gens IMO is the best vesrion since it molds nicely to the hood but leaves room behind it for cleaning and doesn't require the bumpstops and install in a minute and a half. $40.

For the required D-Cell maglites:

$2.00 felt stickers
$35.00 drop-in LED bulbs at Target

Not only does it make them not rattle, it'll extend your battery life a LONG LONG way. Put the felt things on the batteries to stop the rattle. You can do the quick grab brackets for the Mag, or just stuff them between the seats and the center console. It's tight enough where it's not a problem, at least on my 95.

Boots with the fur! with the fur!

My god, I DJed for a party 9 months ago and played that song. It has since become a very popular song. (for those that don't know it Low by Flo-Rida)

How much was that PA horn?

I've taken the running boards off, along with the fender flares.
Sirius Sat Radio
Polk dB401 in the front

So where do I find these mag light clips that I see people bolt on to their Huskyliner's.

I painted the whole underside of my runner with flat black spraypaint, then put a few layers of clearcoat over it. And because all i really do in my Runner is dig holes out in the mud, all the dirt washes right off to make a sparkling clean wheels wells etc... i do it once every summer.

when you want the low gearing of low range but dont need or want 4wd or are too lazy to lock the hubs. having a square drive shaft i lock the hubs only when i need to or know i wont be going fast. my square drive shaft only vibrates between 35-45, anything less is fine, and anything more is fine, i've run 70mph on the free way in front wheel drive after having to remove my rear driveline. i've gone on a couple wheelin trips with miss matched gears, 4.56 front, 529 rear, but a locked 2wd will go just about as far as a open 4wd, so i was fine for wheelin the easier trails. (hell i still dont have matching gears, but i have biger problems to fix first) plus i use(d) it all the time for sitting in rush hour traffic,

The 2-lo mod (or grey wire mod as it is known in the Tacoma arena) was one of my first mods. I love it.

I usually lock the rear any time I am on trail, whether or not I'm in 4wd, simply because I like to disable the ABS when off road, and engaging the locker does just that. But as Chris pointed out, a 2wd locked truck can go a lot of places. In essence, it can be just about as capable as a 4wd truck with open diffs.

Ok, i guess i can see some reason for it but only if you have the e-locker. Though i didn't know that the T-case could even go into low and stay in 2wd.

Now that I'm thinking about it, there may be two different "2-low" mods.
The one I'm talking about is specifically relating to the e-locker.

As far as what you're referring to, this is the first I've heard about it.

Exactly what i was thinking. The gray wire mod i have heard about and understand that one. It makes perfect sense.

But to go into low in 2wd doesn't really make any sense if you ask me.

Plus the gray wire mod is not a 2-low mod but a 2-high mod as it allows you to use the locker in 2wd high instead of just 4-lo.
