Well...thanks to some members on here, I ordered a 40 series last week. I'm hopin that it'll be loud enough for me. If not, I'll just have them put my Dynomax back on.

Not sure if there is a particular one good for the 3.0's but I'm sure that any Flowmaster would be loud.

Well...when you can hear it its deep, its the deepest at ~2k RPM's after that the noisya$$ 3.0 kind of takes over. But its fairly loud, I'll be able to give you a good comparison once my Flowmaster gets here and I get time to put it on.

40 series is gonna be waaay louder than a dynomax. Sometimes mine is annoying its so loud. I have the 3.4 but there isnt that big of a difference between the sound. My 40 series has a deep throaty sound to it.

snwbrdpunk16- What kind of setup do you have with the 40 series? One muffler, two, one muffler with Y-pipes? I am playing with the idea of putting duals or some kind of flowmaster exhuast on my 2000 3.4 L.
