Best floor mat in Salty Michigan winter

Winter is coming here in Michigan.

What I noticed last year is that my Driver side seat belt anchor got rusted somehow. Then I think the part of cause is my lousy floor mat that I got from some local autopart store since day one of my 97 4runner (bought brand-new but the dealer was so lousy that they didn't got me even floor mat, it was the most horrible dealer that I have ever dealt with...)

The floor mat (rubber) was a little undersized and since it is rubber, it does NOT hold any salty water from my boots and shoes during winter season. then such road salt with snow slowly getting to the seat belt anchor & floor area and eventually soaked the seat belt as well.

Now, I am going to buy new floor mat and will replace seat belt also.

Can anyone recommend a good floor mat (oversized or perfect fit) for winter season (Michigan winter)? I think Carpetted one should be holding salty water better, am I right? or is there any better one?

Husky floor mats. There are several other choices that will show up with multiple pros and cons of each if you do a search.

We have another Michigan member on the boards!!!!!!!!!!! Holy ลลลล, welcome welcome....

Where are you at in MI?

Also, Husky or Catch All would be the best bet for all year round weather here in MI.
