chris....

keep us posted on those rotors....If it they hold true (or not) and how well they stop vs. OEM.

From what I understand, either way you go, your gonna have to replace your rotors from time to time.

I'm just curious, how many people are keep their back brakes properly adjusted? ?

AgRunner06,
I have used the Autozone (Performance Friction) pads, PN 5024, on my 94 and my wifes 98 for years. They work great and when they were out you get a replacement set for free for life. If they ask say its for a 96 Landcruiser (warranty info).

Hey Highland,

They actually make pads for 4Runners now. They are part number 4364 Performance Friction pads, so we don't have to fudge the truth about what vehicle we have anymore.

ravencr, Thanks for the info I'll get those next time. I live in the mountains so I go through 2 sets a year. The performance frictions have lasted longer than any other brand I've tried.

Also, I just wanted to note that cross-drilled rotors from Brembo are $306 from Brembo. I just got an email the other day, which is why I chose to go with the Irotors cross-drilled rotors instead. We'll see how they do!
