Best, Cheapest place to get gear install kits for front and rear
I have 5.29s in the mail, and am on the fence on whether or not I should get a MASTER INSTALL kit, or just reuse my old bearings. My rear pinion bearing was replaced by a toyota tech a couple of years ago . . . and advice is appreciated!
PS- ive got 235$ invested on the gears, so im trying not to spend and arm and a leg on the install, since i will be doing it myself.

I reused mine at the time to save money. But i had paid 250 for install. I would think you are ok. While its apart make the call weather they look good. You should still do solid spacers if you offroad it. Have you installed gears before? Not something i would try for the first time on a dd. Also why 5.29s? They maje my engine work harder with 35s. Used to cruise at 65mph 2000rpm. Now its 2500rpm

I've done enough diff work to do gears. Attention I detail is #1. My mechanic who's a long time Toyota and Lexus master tech told me to definitely get the master kit. Damn 200$ a pop is pricey
