Best cheap coil spacer?

Best cheap coil spacer?
So I'm tired of having the back passenger side of my 2nd gen 4runner ride 1" lower than the back driver side (wheel to fender is 14" on the right and 15" on the left). What I would like to do is add a 3/4" to 1" coil spacer to the right side to even things out. Anyone know where I can buy just 1 coil spacer for not too much $? BTW, the 4runner currently has some Downey HD coils I put on, but the right side must be heavier (gas tank probably) because that side is definitely lower.

I have had my Downey HD coils since March of '99 and they have not sagged any, and they are even on both sides, even with a full tank of gas.
I'd contact Downey and let them know about this before trying to add a spacer to it.

Also, that's a great idea about contacting Downey. I'll call them up Monday and see what they say.

I've seen the little twist spacers that you can buy at any auto supply house. They come four or five to a package for less than ten bucks I think. Never used them though so can't say if they work well. Worth a try I think. Maybe someone has some kind of experience with them.

Make sure your springs and the rubber cups are seated correctly in the pockets. That could account for the inequality.
The gas tank isn't going to account for a 1" drop. Let's say the gas tank holds 20 gallons of fuel. At 64lb/ft^3 (density of water) the gas should weigh about 180lb. The spring rate of the coils is probably somewhere around 500lb/in (+- 100lb). So, the gas tank would have to weigh over 500lbs to make the spring compress 1in.

I've seen those twist spacers, might be a good first solution. Especially since after 2nd measurements the 1 side isn't as low as I thought (see below)

Good point about the coil rates and gas tank weight and suggestion about checking how the coils are seated. I took care to make sure the end of the coil (highest part) was seated in the most recessed part of the groove, but it never hurts to double check.
Also, I went to take some pics but it turned out the passenger side was only a 1/4" or so lower (if that) than the driver side. That is, both wheel to fender measurements were the same at first, then after turning the vehicle around and parking it in the same place, the passenger side was 1/4" lower. So maybe I'm off by 1/8" or soon truly level ground. Must have been that the ground wasn't as level as I thought for my initial measurements. It does always seem to lean to the one side, but the tape doesn't lie. So, I guess I"ll just leave it as is for now. Thanks all for the suggestions.
