Bay Area, CA, USA looking for a good dealer????

My 04 needs a little work and I am wondering if Vallejo Toyota is any good. I know ALLOT about cars so I often get frustrated with the service people at dealers who treat me like I am a morron at first. It is not their fault really, they usually deal with people who know little or nothing about cars. Anyway, I am looking for a nice/good dealer to do some work in Nor Cal. I live in Benicia.

Sorry can't help ya. I use Capitol Toyota on Capitol Expressway. They are just OK at best. Just normal warranty stuff and lube. They have not been impressive to sort out some of the common issues on the 4th Gens.

when the misses and me lived up there, we went to several dealerships:

- piercey in SJ
- stevens creek in SC
- walnut creek in walnut creek

of the three, stevens creek was the best out of the 3. piercey was just ok. walnut creek people were extremely polite but always had the highest quotes. must be the neighborhood.

one of the members here...man, i forget his name already, but he was at pismo 4rj I...the vietnamese guy who brought all the stuff....man, that guy had the funniest ass stories. anyways, i believe he works at piercey or steven's creek.

hey steve (robnihood), do u remember his name? where he works out of? loved those stories!

Give Ron Goode Toyota a shot www.rongoodetoyota.com

All dealers typically suck though!

Good Luck!

His name is Thai, but I forgot which dealer he worked at. He's a good guy, he changed out my CV at pismo. Bruce (sportedition something) will only take his 4runner to him.

I highly recommend toyota of palo alto. you can ask for val and he'll really take care of you. Toyota of san francisco wanted to charge me $700 to replace my clutch pedal bushing and val did it for something like $170. also, my dad used to work there for a few years and we've always taken our cars there and the service is just unbelieveable. they always give me rides to san jose and i've never had a problem when getting any car back from them.

one time i took my car to toyota sf and when i got it back there was oil leaking from it (a lot of oil)...

go to toyota of palo alto

EDIT: i meant clutch pedal bracket, not clutch pedal bushing! (mine cracked)

Yeah his name is Thai. He works at Piercey Toyota. I highly recommend them, they are generally cheaper than Stevens Creek. Talk to Karina, she is cool and actually knows her stuff.

I've had my 2000 serviced at Walnut Creek Toyota since New. I highly recommend them.
