Backed into my 4runner this morning (Pic) I hope

I am a dumbass. I was backing my tacoma out of the driveway this morning and slammed into the front of my wifes 97 runner. Jacked up her stock bumper. I was half asleep around 6:00 am, situating myself for driving, out of habbit I began to backup up towards the street out of my driveway Not checking the rearview just yet and wham. Suprise dumbass, it's your wifes 4runner. I don't have the cash for a real bumper, anyone have a stock 97 front bumper they want to get rid of? See pics..Thoughts??? Suggestions???

back when i was in high school, i had an old '75 CJ. i parked it on a different side of the driveway one day and my dad back his brand new (1 month old) '90 4runner (the one i now have) out of the garage and right into my jeep. took me 5 minutes with a hammer to fix my damage, and a $500 dollar trip to the body shop to fix his. kinda funny (well not at the time). at least the 4runner is still around now, the jeep died a while ago (still wish i had it though ).

Well, the physical damage could have been much worse, but the mental damage from your wife verbally abusing you for busting up HER 4Runner... Oh, my!

Hi, I just got your e-mail. I was confuse at first, now I know why you were asking for the bumper. I still have mine, but mine is not in good condition too. If you look close enough to the passenger side around the signal light, you will see dent around it, is not that obvious compare to yours though. You can have it if you want it.

I have a minor dink in mine which isn't too bad but I still want it replaced and I found new ones from www.partstrain.com for $83.95 plus shipping which isn't too bad.

I ran into the wall next to my garage and put a good size dent in my bumper...I ended up getting another one from a guy on here, it was like 140 bucks. I'd check around the classifieds on here or locally and see what you find.

Too bad you didn't do this last week, I just tossed mine out.

I'm sure someone will have one around here.

Those bumpers are like tin foil. You can likely grab onto it and pull out most of the dent for the time being. I have one in decent condition back in Cali, if you ever want to head out there!

lots of people with ARB or TJMs have their bumpers. maybe you can ask them? might as well convert it to 99-02 style
