Auto shifter rattles

This particular joint has at least 1/8" play in it, and it rattles around while driving. Is there a part # for those plastic insert bushings?

Take some electrical tape, cut it to width and wrap it around the bushing.

I thought duct tape was the tape of choice for those types of solutions.

Get the part number and put in here....

Well, I took it apart, and turns out there is no bushing inside. Metal on metal. All the joints in the linkage are worn anyway and wobble. Guess just going to have to accept that on 100K+ miles.

I think there are dozens upon dozens of high mileage Runner and Taco owners on this board that would disagree with that last statement. My cockpit seems tight as a drum with almost 140K.
If there aren't any bushings to replace, maybe packing with some thick lithium grease will quiet them down?

my auto shift selector also wobbles. anyone know which part number is the correct replacement?

i dont know if your wobble was the same as mine, which was the actual shifter stick that moved side to side. i fixed it, and heres the write up:
