Aussie locker update!
Hi all,
Okay so there was some attention regarding the Aussie lockers a few weeks ago. I just e-mailed them a few days ago and here's the exchange:

Peter,
Thank you for your interest in the Aussie Locker. The Tacoma diff product line is in our approved engineering programs but the product is still in early stages. At this time we are unable to provide you with a projected availability date, but we suspect it will be early spring.
Yes, we sell a lot of lockers for 4Runners. We do NOT yet have lockers for the IFS front or the V6 rear diffs. The remaining 4 Runners in years 1984-1989 use our XD-20830 Aussie Locker in the rear and in years 1984-1985
in the front.

Peter,
Our business plan calls for the introduction of new models at special pricing such as the $199.99. When the Tacoma lockers are available they will be brought to the marketplace at a price that is lower than any price the competition offers. Our normal price will also be very competitive.

And there you have it. I think his last response seems a bit vague and guarded but you guys can take it for whatever you think.

Yeah from what I have read about these lockers they are very quiet and much nicer than the lock right. I got pretty much the same response from Bill at Aussie Locker about a month ago, and I'm almost positive he will honor the $199 price when it does come out for our vehicles. If anyone else heres anything let us know. All in all i think this is the way i'm gonna go until i can afford a selectable locker.
