I hate that dealership, can't wait to get back to my friends at Gates Toyota in Indiana! Ps. Has anyone else's bulb burned out? I have a huntch that it was all the change ratteling around in there that shortened its life... the felt should help! My bulb is burned out, and I was planning on replacing it when I get the felt... But for $2.50..... Damn Stealers!! |
haha
I did the same thing about two years ago but I was selfish and didn't post it. the change always seems to click against my wedding band since I take it off when I cruise the "B.L.V.D." in my PimpRunnuh.

Hey Bob-
"Future Mods on tap: PP 1" lift springs and BFG A/Ts" You may want to re-think that. I thoroughly inspected AZ Rains and they have some definite issues. They made the front springs the same rate to one side is higher than the other. They also seem to give a really good solid 2” of lift. The Downey 20% over rear springs and a set of 1” front Cornbreds would be far superior to the quite obviously inferior PP springs. Just telling ya what I saw. Speaking of SAW's............................................. ....... |
Steve, can you give me more info on the spring rate issue?
My front end (after the springs settled) was 1.5inches. So far they have been good springs. Just curious, what would the following setup cost (an estimate) Cornfed 2in spacers in front and Downey 20% over rear springs and a set of 1” front Cornbred? |
Measure very carefully and see if your drivers side is lower than your passenger side in the front.
AZ-Rain, Mike's is or was. |
Bump, any measurements?

Originally posted by SLC Punk I actually took mine out and went to Autozone. I found one that was a tad wider, but still fit. THe cost was $1 for two bulbs and it works great! I did the same. I got ansy and stopped by the local dealer to pick up an ash tray (coin tray in my runnuh) bulb, tail light bulb, and one for the glove box. man! they wanted between 5-8 bucks each! so I dropped my list in the trash and headed out to pep boys and, like SLC Punk said, $1 each! so I picked up two of each so I would have spares. it so happens that the same one that fits the coin tray fits the glove box and they come in packs of two (I think they are sylvania). make sure you grab the ones that say "for accessory lights" or something like that because I think they had some the same size but unless you looked closely they said "for center brake light" for something like that. |

haha
I thought I was having an acid flashback but then I looked and realized your from down under. I like the right side driving set up. nice mod.
