arb turn signal wiring
alright so ive searched here on yotatech, and on a few jeep forums, and havent found exactly what im looking for. im at my friends house helping him wire up his turn signals onto his arb. the arb already has bulbs and lenses on it for the signals, and 2 wires coming out from it. his cherokee has a signal below the headlight and one on the side. on the signal below the headlight, there are 2 bulbs, each with 3 wires coming out from it. i believe im going to have to wire those wires up to the 2 wires coming from the arb. has anyone done this "mod" on a jeep, or does anyone have any suggestions on where i can find information on how to do this. hes busy right now replacing his radiator hose, had a whole in it. stupid heeps...

Likely the 3-wire bulbs are dual filament (1157 type) bulbs. They have a low and high watt filament plus a common ground, thus the 3 wires. Normally they are wired with the low wattage filament for the parking or running lights and the bright filament for the turn signal (or in the rear the brake light). On my 4Runner, I took the two separate lights and combined them into one dual filament bulb:
