So i found an arb bumper with a 8500lb warn winch for $600 on craigslist only problem is it is from a 2nd gen and i have a 3rd. So i guess my question is if you can mod it to fit or is there no hope?? I want a new front bumper so bad but i cant afford $1200 for a new one and it seems like a great deal if i can make it work

Not w/o lots of modifying. Nothing's going to line up. I suggest you just keep searching for the right one (95.5 - 04 Tacoma is the one you need - ARB doesn't make one specifically for 3rd gen Runners, but the Taco ones work perfectly). I found mine used through word of mouth for $200!! no winch (of course) and a dent, but still a great deal.

 

ya i figured it wouldnt but thought id look in to it. I knew the taco ones work. Im thinkin i might custom build one if i cant find one for cheap

 

Okay now I'm kicking myself for not buying one for a Taco from Craiglist! Wasn't sure if it would fit...damn.
