I asked the guy about shipping and he said it going to be about $165 bucks I also asked him about the reserve, and he said after doing more research his reserve is probably too high, but he'll see how high it goes. He never gave me the reserve amount though.

That shipping sounds steep.

I paid less than that from California to Wisconsin, truck freight.

that last minute bidding is called sniping.. I have bid on something with less that 30 seconds to go, and the guy I beat got another bid in, and he still got beat out by 2 more guys! The last 2 bidders were less than 5 seconds to end.

When it gets close to the end, figure what your max would be and bid that. You only have to pay a buck or two more than the #2 bidders high bid, and you might not have time to do another bid.

The longest I've waiting was 4 seconds. I didn't think it was going to take it but it did. I figure out what my high bid is going to be, and stick with "it" If I got beat by 2 maybe 3 bucks oh well. I wasn't willing to go that high. You can't beat your self up about it. In those cases where I think I might could spend a smidge more, I bring up a second browser and with that amount. If my first amount isn't enough boom hit the other amount. You still have time. Of course if your still on dial up, you're screwed.
