The anything-but-boring Borla (write-up)
Joey 'UK' Meyers has added a little bit of power and grunt to his 4Runner in the form of Luke, sitting in the passenger seat just kidding!!. In fact he added power and grunt by installing a Borla muffler, and I have just added his write-up to the tech section. This is an easy mod in general but one that really pays you back every time you drive. Check it out!

Mark thanks once again!!! The exhaust seems to have changed notes just a bit for the better after driving it for a few days I suspect that the packing in the muffler is getting worn in. The funny smell has gone away and it seems to get a bit more power each time I go out. Overall I am satisfied with this mod for sure!

Kind of a funny story, but I had the same problem. I was driving home right after I got my Dynomax installed. I was on rt. 100, a major highway when I noticed alot of smoke. I looked back and saw ALOT of smoke coming out of the muffler. It came to the point where other drivers were changing lanes so they were not behind me...I scared them I guess. Yeah, but mine has changed sounds a little probably for the same reason, the packing is set now and should stay that way! It is a great mod! I love it! :fireman:
