Anyone tried 32X11.5's with BJ Spacers?

Hi all. I'm inquiring for a potential customer as to whether or not anyone has actually installed the ball joint spacers with 32X11.5 BFG AT's on stock rims? BTW, feel free to reply if you have stock rims and spacers at all. I'm compiling a list of what tires work and what do not.

Thanks,

Frank

I don't have what you're looking for, but the setup I have is working great. I'm running 32x10.50 Super Swampers on 15x8 rims (not sure the back spacing). I have about 3/4 to 1 inch of space between the sidewall and the UCA.

I finally got a chance to really test the spacers this weekend at the EC4RJ at Paragon. They worked great Frank.

Good to hear! If you have any pics you don't mind sharing, I like to collect some action shots for the website.

I've been getting a lot of questions from people wondering if their setups will have any issues and I feel bad that I can't give them definite answers. Every little bit of info helps though.

I got a bit of rubbing with 33 x 12.5's on stock rims. Had to pull them off until I buy a new set of wheels.

What brand/model of tire are you running? This is good because I have a picture of 33X12.50 BFG mudders clearing.

Sorry 'bout that. They are BFG AT's. I was going to take a pic for you but completely forgot before I pulled the spacers off.

Don't sweat it, you already helped me out. So far, BFG 33X12.5 mudders work, but AT's don't. This is exactly the info I'm after.

I have 33x12.5" BFG A/Ts and a Pro comp stage II lift and they fit great.
The wheels are 15x8.5 AR gamblers.

Here is a pic from this weekend that one of the guys took. It's the only one I've seen so far that shows the front suspension at all. If anyone posts more pics of EC4RJ and there are better ones I'll post them too.

Here is another (sort of dark) picture of a guy named Ace who is on 4x4wire but I don't know if he's on YotaTech. He's running a 3" body lift, bj spacers, and 35"x12.50"s. I don't have any idea what size rims he's running.

I'll be installing the BJ spacers next week with 32x11.5 BFG ATs on rockcrawlers with 3.75 inches of backspacing, as soon as I have it done I'll let you know and try and take some photos.

I was going to run a 33x10.5 BFG MT KM on a stock rims, but right before I went to buy the tires I ran across a good deal on 33x12.50 MT MTX and 15x10 MT Classic II.

To be safe I would not install a 11.5" width tire on a STOCK Toyota rim. I think there is too much backspacing. A Dunlop RV 31x10.5" tire had 3/8" to clearance, I am working on pictures of this.

To fix the problem couldnt you just get a pair of 3/4" or 1" wheel spacers instead of buying new wheels?
I plan on buying a set of BJ spacers but I want to make sure that the size of tire I run will clear with the stock wheels first.
Thanks

I just put 32x11.5 BFG AT's on stock rims with no spacers or lift and I can't get them to rub.

You could certainly just get spacers. They are not that cheap though. One place was selling a set of 4 for 250 bucks! That got me thinking maybe I should just make my own and sell em.

Havent tried the 32x11.5's, but if you have any extra and willing BJ donors, send em my way. I dont think you will have a problem with that setup.

Billy

Wheel spacers are something that we have been fabbing like crazy @ NE as of late. Just get me the specs and I will have them done for anyone interested asap.

GoldRunner -- how'd this go for you with the BFG 32x11.50's and the ball joint spacers?

Havent had a chance to install the spacers yet, I need to put rear spring spacers on at the same time and I'm waiting for a panhard drop bracket to come in from 4Wheelparts, it's special order from Procomp and hopefully will be in by the end of next week. When installing the wheels I checked out the spacing and it didn't seem like they would rub, but as soon as I get the spacers on I'll post some pics.

I have BFG A/T 32x11.5 tires with no rubbing what so ever. I have the HD rear coils, and have been thinking about the ball joint spacers.
