Anyone running Unique 16" wheels from Discount Tire?

First, I did search. I know there are a lot of wheel / tire threads but I can't find much info on this particular 16" wheel. I know the 15" size seems to work fine for everyone. They seem very similar to the Cragar Soft 8's everyone is running.

I went to discount tire over the weekend and wanted to order some of these but they told me the center bore was too small for my rig. Is this a bunch of BS or are they correct? It is a Unique 297 model.

1997 4runner SR5 4X4

Thanks for any help!

It is a cragar soft 8, but with a more expensive price tag and a different name. kawasakimoto_7 is a friend of mine and has them on his truck. we compared them to my cragars and they're exactly the same except mine were 30 a piece, and his were 55.

Where did you get them? All I can find is 16x7 with 4" BS. The 16x8's that I was looking at only come in 5" BS. The look great though!

I got them at America's Tire Co. (aka. Discount Tire Co.) here in Washington State. They have to custom make the 4" BS for you though. It took them an extra month to get them into the store, but at no extra cost. They even cleared the calipers with no issue.

Cool, I didn't know they would do that. Like I said, the Discount tire where I live said they wouldn't fit at all. You don't have the part# for the custom rim do you?

Just looked at my receipt. They are actually 4 1/8" BS. They told me that is the smallest BS they could go. My receipt reads:

Code: 52192 NRM
Size: 16x8 6-5.5
Description: 12B Unique 297-7860P
Price: $67 a piece
Backspacing: Custom 4 1/8"

Not sure if any of those are a part number but this should help you.
