nothing wrong, I just want to see other options. I am most likely going to get 16x8. I just want to see if anyone had experience with 16x10.

theres a guy at my campus with a limited running 16x10's on 305/70/16 MTR's... He looks like he just has a 3" suspension lift... 16x10 looks aggressive! If you can pull it off, I say do it...

305's with just a 3" lift. that sounds kind of funny. but I could be wrong.

I got 16x10s, but they are on 305/70/16s. I think I might be the guy running that setup here in Hawaii. If not I have some competion. My kit is yellow billies, revtek topout plate, Tundra coils, I think I got them from bachmen, and downey 3.5 in the rears. With 4crawler 2" body. And I barley clear the 305, I had to do major trimming. But it was all worth it. I can barley get into the truck as is.

the reason I am considering 16x10's is because it only cost $2.00 more per rim than 16x8's. So I just want to brush up on information b4 I purchase.

From: 100 miles offshore as much as possible, & Springfield Oregon USA
1. The extra width causes them to swing through a much wider arc. This cause beaucoup interference problems. Wider rims will require more lift unless you are just a mall cruiser.
2. This is a very wide rim for 285s. They will tend to have odd wear patterns.
3. Just looks funny. But beauty is in the eye of the beerholder...
4. Only $2 more per wheel is not a particularly compelling argument in favor. What if they had pink teddy bears on em for only $2 more - would you buy them? I can pick up some old 60" tractor tires on rims for just a few bucks down the road near here, but that's not really tempting me to put em on my Yota... (just giving ya a hard time!)

But you can do it if you work out the details to make it happen.
