For anyone looking to do the Tacoma Whip mod.

AutoZone has the non-motorized assembly, AND mast, as a kit.

Black is $24.99
Stainless Steel is $39.99

It is made by Metra. They dont have it in stock, but it only takes a couple days to come in.

Tried to install it yesterday, here are my findings:

ITS THE WRONG FREAKIN ONE!
-The bolt dosent line up
-The cable is too short
-It has a different threading than the Tacoma Whip (which I had on hand fromt he Tacoma)

So I returned it (which they tried to hassle me about), and just got P# 86300-35090 at the price of $45.71.

So you paid $45 for the right tacoma whip parts or was that for the power replacement parts for the runner?

S2000, LS430, IS300, Altezza Antennas are TOO rigid, so if you touch ANYTHING, Itll snap off at the base. Plus, there is really no place to mount them so they'd look good.

Got the assembly in today, and realized why it was $45. It came witht he whip. It was a stainless steel whip, and didnt have the twisty wire going around it liket he Tacoma one.

I have a really bad issue about ordering parts and stuff and having to wait for them. Plus, I have no credit card.
